Mike Saatchi

I started making music at nine. I grew up on underground music, and back then the dark themes were the whole scene — so for years my subject matter was dark, and so was my head.

In my adult years I hit a bad stretch. I got 51:10ed. I had an encounter with God that changed my life, and I felt Him calling me to get sober and to make music that brings people closer to Him.

What He showed me was that the power of life and death is in the tongue. Artists I loved — XXXTENTACION, Lil Peep, Juice WRLD, Mac Miller — made music that circled death, and those words got sung back at them by a whole room at once. That is a lot of energy pointed at one thing. Rest their souls.

So now I am deliberate about it. Everything I make is meant to lift somebody. This page is for the people who hear that and want in.
